Ariel House
A lovely Victorian guesthouse in Ballsbridge, Dublin
In a posh residential suburb and just a block from the speedy DART train into town (two stops from Pearse Street at Trinity College), Ariel House offers Victorian style, modern comfort, and timeless hospitality to a few lucky travelers (just 37 rooms, so reserve early).
The attention to refined detail is evident from the Waterford chandelier and carved cornices in the drawing room to the period furniture, fine paintings, and Irish linens in the comfy guest rooms. Family rooms are also available.
The 19th century class also comes with modern amenities, like free WiFi and flatscreen TVs.
Rates include a full Irish breakfast and free parking. They also do an afternoon tea.
If you don't like it, there's always Butler's Townhouse across the street.
