The Hugh Lane (Dublin City Gallery)
A collection of art spanning from 19th century Impressionists to contemporary works. Best part: it's free.
The free Dublin City Gallery houses a collection of art spanning from 19th century Impressionists to contemporary works: Monet, Manet, Degas, Courbet, Corot, Constable, plus Irish works by Jack Yeats, William Orpen, and Roderick O’Conor.
They also have the rather untidy studio and archive of the Dublin-born Francis Bacon, who moved to London in 1916 but whose studio and archives were relocated here in 1998.
