Harding Hotel
The cheapest hotel in central Dublin is steps away from the top sights and the best pubs
The Harding was built in 1996 for traveling students and other budgeteers, though it's open to—and patronized by—all types; this was never a hostel, and is now classed as a three-star hotel.
It offers 52 comfortable if uninspiring rooms complete with free WiFi and coffee and tea, a bistro, bar/restaurant (Irish music at the weekend), and family rooms—all this on the edge of trendy Temple Bar, near Christ Church, and with some the cheapest hotel rates in central Dublin.
