Temple Bar Hotel

A trendy hotel in the nightlife heart of Dublin

There's no better place for being right in the heart of the action. Trendy, pub-packed Temple Bar got its first hotel in 1993, when 129 cozy rooms behind a Victorian facade were converted with stylish furnishings and modern amenities.

There's a full Irish breakfast included in the price and free WiFi, plus a lobby bar, Busker's Pub, passable restaurant, nightclub, and Dublin's liveliest neighborhood just out the front door.

One huge caveat, though. Expect the surrounding streets to stay very noisy until very late—as late as 3am on weekends (and in Dublin, the "weekend" starts on Thursday night).

Beg for a room on the quiet side—and if you don't plan to stay out at least passably late yourself (or eimply expect to go to bed early), you will probably be happier booking elsewhere.
