The best places to stay in Alberobello, Apulia

Since renting a trullo is (a) cheaper than a hotel, (b) larger than most hotel rooms, (c) come with a kitchen, and (d) are way, way, wat way cooler, I wouldn't bother booking a hotel unless you are for some reason addicted to having a front desk or all the trullos for rent are taken.

A century-old, family-run hotel with a great restaurant just off the main piazza in the new part of town. Try for a room in the high vaulted ceilings of the original 19th-century palazzo (though those in the top two floors tacked on in the 1960s are larger).
