How Do I Get Tickets to the Olympics?

Do you realize you could attend an Olympic sporting even for as little as $42?

OH, SURE , it'll run you a whopping $1,260 to get a seat at the gala opening ceremony, but you can cheer on a biathlon skier/sharpshooter for less than $50. What's more, ticket prices start at just $59 for everything from curling to bobsleigh to snowboarding. Heck, that's less than it costs me to watch the Knicks lose at Madison Square Garden.

All you have to do is visit the official North American ticket reseller, CoSport—though EU residents can get their tickets directly from the source at Torino2006.org (and save boatloads of money; the CoSport markup is around 140%, with markp on some events soaring as high as 200%).

Just don't bother with the so-called "ticket packages" at CoSport. You'd think that you might be getting some kind of bulk discount by purchasing one of these random grab-bags of multiple events, but they actually do not represent a single penny of savings over buying individual tickets. Don't know about you, but I'd rather pick and choose my own assortment of events, thank you very much.
