Will I Need a Car?

If you're not staying in Turin or one of the mountain resorts where the Alpine events are taking place (or in another town that happens to have a direct rail link with Turin), then yes, you will need a car.

Parking lots where attendees can leave their cars and switch to the public transportation networks connecting the far-flung Olympic sites will be available.

How Do I Get the Best Deal on A Rental Car?
For stays of less than 17 days, follow the steps and rules laid out in this section to get the cheapest rate on a rental car.

If you're staying for the full Olympic period (which happens to be 17 days) or longer, a short-term lease will likely cost less than a rental and comes with other perks, all of which are detailed here.

Either way, I almost always find the cheapest rates through consolidaotor Auto Europe.
