Just 50m from the Arena—some rooms even catch view of the amphitheater's topmost tier of ancient stones—this handsomely refurbished palazzo-hotel recommended for its upscale ambience, cordial can-do staff, and its location in the heart of the centro storico.
The 38 brightly lit rooms are not overly large, but warmed by sleek, modern burnished cherry-wood furnishings, and the large marble-tiled bathrooms are those you imagine finding in tony first-class hotels at less reasonable rates.
The hotel takes its name seriously; sure enough, there are two small marble balconies a la Juliet on the facade (and some more prosaic ones at the back), but their view is unremarkable.
The hotel is located on a narrow side street that is quiet and convenient to everything.
