Most of Palermo's glorious and famed 18th- and 19th-century palazzi are rotting behind their massive doors, but this one is open to the public for a glimpse into the lifestyle of Palermo's wealthy caste in past few centuries.
The noble Filangeri-Lanza family lived in this palace from the 17th century until 1982, and it's furnished exactly how is was in the 19th century, which included many 17th- and 18th-century pieces.
Don't miss the tiny Chinese-style room with its remarkable trompé-l'oeil ceiling.

It takes about 30–45 mintues to tour the palazzo
