Award-winning travel writer Reid Bramblett is the author of two dozen guidebooks.

He has been a Smithsonian lecturer, Contributing Editor to Budget Travel and Smart Shopping magazines, daily travel reporter for MSNBC.com, adventure columnist and blogger for WeightWatchers.com and the Chicago Daily Herald, and Cultural Anthropologist for the Travel Channel’s “Cruises We Love.”

Reid founded the Lowell Thomas-winning Reidsguides.com, which has been recommended by CNN, USA Today, SmartMoney, and National Geographic Traveler.

He lives with his wife, sons, mother, cat, dog, and gaggle of chickens on a 19th century farm with an Amish-built bank barn outside Philadelphia.
