Then onto the Half Moon Pub in Putney where, allegedly, live music has been played there every night since 1963 and has hosted the world’s biggest names in folk, blues and rock. Olympic Studios in Barnes has featured more prominently in recording the world’s top bands than any other… including Abbey Road! 

You'll take in the homes of celebrated 60s music legends and locations like Twickenham Film Studios where The Beatles filmed ‘HELP!’ and ‘A Hard Day’s Night’. You’ll see where 'Sir' Rod Stewart got his first break and you’ll hear about the famous artists who performed at the Richmond Jazz and Blues Festival between 1961 and 1965 as we stop on the very site and you'll capture the views from the top of Richmond Hill, immortalized in paintings by Sir Joshua Reynolds and J. M. W. Turner - it was described by Sir Walter Scott as "an unrivalled landscape". The view from the north side of Richmond Hill was protected by an Act of Parliament in 1902.

From January to March and July to September, enjoy the Sherlock Holmes and the Professor Bugels Last Post experience. Here, Professor Bugle's Baker Street laboratory has been ransacked just as he’s celebrating winning the prestigious ‘Golden Test Tube Award’. Not all goes according to plan, and soon there's a hideous murder.

From April to June and November to December, participate in the Sherlock Holmes and the Mystery of the Black Pearl experience. On this interactive evening, Lady Plenty is opening a new tea room on Baker Street and is celebrating in style with a showing of the mysterious black pearl — said to be pirates’ treasure. Following a robbery and a gruesome murder, Sherlock Holmes is called in to solve the crime.

At 10pm, when your immersive murder mystery evening draws to a close, step outside the Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes Hotel to conclude your experience.

Make your own way to Tyler’s Common Fishery in the London suburb of Havering in the morning, then meet your instructor to begin your carp fishing experience.

Start with a full safety briefing, then enjoy a guided tour of the site and learn how to use your fishing tackle and bait.

Afterward, pick your spot on the lakeside and put your new skills in to action. Under the guidance of your instructor, cast your line into the water and try your luck catching carp. Hear handy hints and tips to catch bigger fish faster, or boost your chances of a bite.

Practise different casting techniques and master the art of landing your catch. Then, after five hours at the fishery, your carp fishing adventure will come to an end.

The flight on the London Eye lasts for approximately 30 minutes, the time it takes for the London Eye to revolve completely. All capsules are fully air-conditioned and rotate on a special device designed to keep everyone upright as the wheel makes a slow but progressive revolution.

He is extremely knowledgeable about his craft, and will give you a general overview of the history and culture of street art in London, as well as answering any questions you may have. A hot topic for discussion on this tour will be how artists tread the line between commercial success and ‘keeping it real’, as more and more underground work is absorbed into the mainstream.

From the moment your guide (Karim) landed in London from Zimbabwe, Karim was drawn to the city’s graffiti and street art scene. Studying the people and styles that define it, he found himself powerless to resist, and his art can now be seen adorning walls across the capital. His expertise on the subject is also much in demand, and he has conducted highly regarded workshops and tours for clients that include the BBC.

Karim’s enthusiasm is infectious, and it springs from a background in architecture – something that is evident in the “insane knowledge” that he imparts during your time with him. He has certainly inspired us to look closer at the amazing array of urban interventions across the capital. “Street art in London is always in flux,” he says, “and it is a wonderful cacophony of colour and characters.” Join on this tour and fine-tune your eye on the street.

A focal point for graffiti writers and street artists, east London gives a snapshot of a movement that’s evolving day by day. Given its proximity to the City, rich cultural history and status as the UK’s tech hub, it’s easy to see why it’s such a fertile setting.

On a walk round the neighbourhood, active street artist Karim will uncover the many layers of urban art that have appeared on the district’s walls – some obvious, some hidden – and introduce the key players and notable pieces. A hot topic for discussion on this SideStory Experience will be how artists tread the line between commercial success and ‘keeping it real’, as more and more underground work is absorbed into the mainstream.

Enjoy a fun filled, adrenaline fuelled experience, enjoy sightseeing, speed and awesome aquabatics. This 50 minute experience passes some of London's most iconic sights. Sit back and take in the view as the journey travels under London’s famous bridges including the most modern, Millennium Bridge, and the world renowned Tower Bridge on the way to the fast zone. Once past Tower Bridge the boat is heading for speed and the experienced skippers will show you what these boats can do.

There, you will meet your friendly and knowledgeable guide - the man with the keys. Your guide will help you tailor the perfect route for your ride. Following a quick safety briefing it’s off to meet Harry, the Maserati. You can choose from a 60-minute stylish cruise around your favourite London sites or head out of town on an incredibly special 2-hour country ride, where you will be able to open Harry up on the motorway and along winding country roads. Remember, the Maserati has two rear seats so you can bring along up to two passengers to join in and capture the whole thing on camera. At the end of your ride you will return to Hyde Park.

Set in the grand 4-star splendor of this Victorian city hotel, this once-in-a-lifetime dining experience is an affectionate homage to the hit 1970s British sitcom Fawlty Towers, written by John Cleese and Connie Booth.

After ‘checking in,’ perhaps head to Basil's bar to enjoy a pre-dinner drink (own expense) as you wait for the fun to start. Chuckle in amusement as you watch the hotel proprietor, Basil Faulty, rush around greeting guests, and hear Sybil’s shrill cries of “BAS-IL!” bouncing off of the walls while Manuel tries to serve the nuts.

Take your seat as Basil frantically ushers everyone to their places at one of the shared tables, and prepare to laugh yourself silly during what is likely to be one of the most comical lunch or dinner experiences you have ever had.

With only a third of the show scripted, no two dining experiences are ever the same. And with Basil, Sybil and Manuel acting as the waiting staff, expect everything but ‘good’ service. In true Fawlty Towers form, everything that can go wrong, will go wrong — hilariously so.

During the 2-hour experience, dine on a 1970s-inspired 3-course meal consisting of dishes such as spiced carrot and fennel soup, and chicken with tarragon mash and vegetables. Visitors arriving at the site during the peak daylight hours are not permitted to have direct access to the intriguing stone circle. However, your ‘private viewing’ tour enables your group to walk inside the roped-off circle, and admire the stones close up.

Hear the secrets and mysterious stories about Stonehenge from your expert guide, and experience the site at its atmospheric best! Morning Tour:

Continue to Bath, a UNESCO-listed city in the county of Somerset. Enjoy a tour of the Roman Baths, visit Bath Abbey, and learn some more about Jane Austen, who was born in the city. Evening Tour:
From London, travel first to the city of Bath to explore the Roman Baths and visit Bath Abbey, as described for the Morning Tour. Last, but not least, travel to Stonehenge for your tour of the stones when the day-trippers have left the site.

Located in the old Coutts Bank, once used to protect the Queens coffers, the Hard Rock Cafe London Rock Shop houses the most valuable pieces of memorabilia in the Hard Rock Cafe's collection.

Head inside Ripley’s Believe It or Not! with your entrance ticket and explore the intriguing attraction at leisure, admiring a collection of roughly 700 artifacts from around the world. Audio guides and maps are available for you to purchase at your own expense, or alternatively, just wander around the six-floor exhibition at your own pace.

The attraction was created with the aim of satisfying people’s basic curiosities through challenging and unusual exhibits – the types of things people had to see to believe. So, do just that and discover crazy artifacts like a 13-foot (4-meter) model of Tower Bridge made from matchsticks, and the Tsantsa collection – an assortment of shrunken heads from the Amazon jungle!

Amble through interactive discovery zones like the Mirror Maze. Jump, crawl and twist your way through beams of light in the Laser Race and prepare to feel dizzy as you walk through the attraction’s legendary Vortex Tunnel. Perhaps take a break in the center’s coffee bar, or browse for quirky souvenirs in the gift shop. If you visit during peak times (April to October) you can also see live performances in the foyer.

After exploring, use your ticket (given to you on entering Ripley’s Believe It or Not!) for a 2-course meal and soda inside nearby Planet Hollywood. Make your own way to the restaurant and take a seat at your table. After your meal, why not visit the restaurant’s themed rooms like the Bond Room or the trendy Cabana Room. A wide range of film memorabilia, such as a Star Wars R2D2 robot, is also on display.
