Some of the images on this website were made by me, Reid Bramblett (and a few by members of my family).

The others either come courtesy of:

• The local tourism authorities
• The venues themselves (sights, hotels, restaurants, transit authorities, etc.), used with permission.
• The gracious and generous users of the Internet who make their snapshots and professional pics available royalty free under some version of a Creative Commons license.

In the "alt" tag for each image (mouse over it and wait), you will see a photo credit giving credit where credit is due.

Aside from some cropping, toning, and occasionally punching up shadowy regions, none of these images has been radically altered. (OK, I will admit to occasionally and painstakingly using GIMP to paint out particularly egregious errant telephone poles—if it appears to be, say, sprouting out of the Queen's head—or virtually sponge off dark spots left over from a shot made through a dirty lens).
