Reid Bramblett has appeared as a\u00a0travel expert<\/span>\u00a0on CNN, Fox NEWS, the Travel Channel, CNNfn, and the New York City affiliates of ABC, Fox, and UPN.\u00a0<\/p>

He has also been a guest on various\u00a0NPR\u00a0<\/span>programs and stations.<\/p>

Reid appeared as the official Cultural Anthropologist on the\u00a0Travel Channel series\u00a0Cruises We Love,<\/em><\/span>\u00a0offering cultural context and historical insights on everything from truffle hunting in Croatia to the Nitrate Wars of Chile to indigenous traditions of the Chukchi Peninsula.\u00a0<\/p>

He is also the occasional co-host of the weekly, nationally syndicated\u00a0radio call-in show<\/span>\u00a0“The Travel Show with Pauline Frommer,” formely on WOR-AM in New York (Sundays noon\u20132pm).<\/p>

Reid lectures regularly on Italy, Ireland, trip planning, and other travel topics at the Smithsonian Institution<\/span>, and has spoken at many other venues, including the New York Times Travel Show, the New York’s Explorer’s Club, the Public Relations Society of America, and <\/span>many bookstores and libraries. <\/span><\/p>\n

He has provided <\/span>workshops and panels<\/span> at various professional conferences, including those of SATW (the Society of American Travel Writers, where he once served in the post of Active-At-Large). <\/span>Lecturer on travel and European history at the Smithsonian Institution. <\/span><\/p>\n

Reid has also acted as a <\/span>travel consultant<\/span> for national tourism boards, major tour companies, scout troops, executives planning trips, and couples looking for something special on their next vacation.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
