In the Stuttgart suburb of Böblingen is Motorworld (Motorworld.de), a sprawling complex housing some of Germany's top classic car dealers, mechanics, restorers, and detailers.

It consists of several warehouse-sized showrooms packed with everything from 1930s Cadillacs to 1960s American muscle cars to 1980s Lamborghinis to 2000s McLarens... and dozens and dozens of classic Mercedes, BMWs, and Porches from every decade and all in cherry condition.

In the middle of this is the Nirvana of all boutique hotels for car aficionados, the V8 Hotel, an automobile-themed four-star hotel where the rooms are all driving-themed—Car Wash, Route 66, etc.

Some even come with grown-up-sized car beds crafted from classic cars. Cutest: the Herbie special, a faux Shell station with a white VW Beetle painted with the red and blue stripes and the big no. 53 on the hood.

With several on-site eateries—restaurants, a pizza-and-beer tavern, and cafes—and all those amazing classic cars just a few footsteps away, this is possibly the greatest gear-head hotel in all of Europe.
