Troop 116’s core values
We often like to joke that we’re raising intellectual barbarians, kids who can survive in the wild while discussing math theory, museum-goers who also appreciate the simplest pleasures. Not for nothing do we have the tradition of reading Chaucer on snowshoe trips.
The 12 points of the Scout Law are an excellent blueprint for a life well-lived. But there are other metrics. These are the values we hope the 116 experience will instill in all our Scouts, and the powers they will come away with.
